I own 11 of the puffy dresses. 5 in jazz material, 6 in Medina silk. I LOVE these dresses and literally buy them with the intention of it being one of the only things I wear outside my home. I wear a niqab and wanted a dress that fully supported what hijab means. I wanted to feel elegant in something while still falling under shari’a definitions of hijab. THIS FITS IT!! No adornments on it, no gems or embroidery, it’s tailored in a way that doesn’t show your body or even arm shape in the slightest, it makes me feel fully covered and protected, but still beautiful in the eyes of Allah. I have one slight issue, but it’s not the dress’s fault lol it’s mine. I’m 5’1” so the dresses are very long on me. I end up using “no-sew” pins from Amazon (meant for pants, but I use them for this too), and pin the collar up by each shoulder to shorten the length of the dress from the front. I need to get them all tailored inshaAllah to fit better because I’m putting too many holes in the collar at this point. But the material is stunning, and I always get many compliments on the abaya. The jazz is very breathable and cooling, while the Medina silk is also flowy and cooling, but a heavier material that has a fancier feel to it due to the shine. It’s not see through, but I always wear something underneath just in case, especially if it’s a windy day because once the wind catches this dress, you can puff up like a balloon haha. 10/10 would 100% recommend. The jazz material can be sliiiiightly see through in the sun, so for sure wear a slip under it.
